Hello, and congratulations on your engagement! My name is Kandice, and I am the bridal consultant for the Garden of Eden Florist, Inc. I have been designing for 12 years, and I have been managing the bridal department for the past 7 years. In addition to consulting with brides and their families every day, I am also one of the main, full-time designers, and I have previously taught floral design for Lehigh Carbon Community College.
I am very knowledgeable on fresh flowers, their care, design styles and techniques, colors, availability, and everything in between! I have been certified in Classical and Contemporary Wedding Design, European Design, and Asian Influenced Design. My certifications have been distributed by Teleflora Education Headquarters located in Oklahoma City, OK. I also attend seminars and classes on a regular basis throughout the country to keep up to date on the latest design trends and styles.
I was recently married in 2002, so I understand the expectations of today’s bride. I know how I expected to be treated, and that is exactly how you will be treated. Once your deposit is placed, I will consult with you as often as necessary, free of charge, until you feel confident in your floral selections. Whether it is once a month or once a week, I am here to help you plan the wedding of your dreams. If you would prefer to see a sample bouquet, I will arrange to have that accomplished for you. If there is anything I can help with, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time. If I am not available at the time of your call, I will return your call, or email, as soon as possible, within 24 hours.
In the Garden of Eden’s 22 years of experience, we have learned how to please every bride and make every wedding we design customized, unique, and special. We will not make any two weddings the same, because no two brides’ are the same. Everything you have dreamed about on your wedding day pertaining to flowers will be happily accomplished for you. Our goal is to make your wedding day as perfect as possible, and to relieve as many headaches as we can!
As soon as you have your color scheme chosen, please call us to schedule your first consultation. We accept deposits two years in advance, so the earlier you meet with us, the better chance you have of your date being available. Your initial consultation, and all follow-up consultations, is free of charge. It will usually take approximately one hour for your initial consultation. You are welcome to bring any pictures, magazine cut outs, print outs from the internet, dress swatches, or any other materials that you might think would be of help in portraying your ideas. If you do not have any pictures or ideas, we have an extensive floral library of our own photographs, design books, magazines, samples bouquets, and lots more to help you. At the conclusion of your consultation, you will be given a print out of your wedding flower proposal complete with a detailed description of everything discussed and prices.
On your wedding day, someone will be available the entire day. If you contact the flower shop and I am not available on your wedding day, I am setting up another location. I will be contacted via cell phone wherever I am and will return your call immediately.
